TRUCKEE, Calif. – Fall 2009 – This winter, Northstar-at-Tahoe Resort’s Cross-Country, Telemark & Snowshoe Center will expand its snowshoe event offering by introducing a snowshoe social and running race series designed not only as training and competition for elite runners, but as an outdoor social gathering for anyone interested in enjoying winter in the mountains on foot.

Bryon Powell from iRunFar here. First off, thanks for the link. :-) Second, I was wondering if you've got any experience snowshoeing the high country down in Yosemite. I'm planning a trip for early next year, but at a lose for which type of shoe to get as I've yet to see the snow conditions up there.
